Who are you and what’s your research about?
Yasheelee is a master’s student in Dr. Miller’s lab from Sri Lanka. She earned BSc. Hons. in Biomedical Science from KIU, Sri Lanka. Her research focuses on creating a phage cocktail that may be effective against many strains of Listeria monocytogenes. She likes cooking, while listening to her favorite playlists and loves the outdoors when it’s sunny and beautiful!

Why is the FSHN GSA important to you?
The GSA has been bringing fun and been so welcoming since I started at UIUC and I hope I can help continue this! Knowing you all personally from ABL also helps 🙂
