Who are you and what’s your research about?
Christine is a Ph.D. candidate from Wisconsin. She earned a B.S. in Bacteriology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an M.S. in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign. She is currently working on engineering microalgae for use as a food ingredient. Her research goal is to improve the acceptance and use of microalgae as a food ingredient. She enjoys outdoor activities, including playing tennis, biking to work and walking the family dog.
